Introduction to Excel to Tally by Arif Massani

Before introducing EXCEL TO TALLY I would like to introduce TALLY an ultimate accounting module and EXCEL an easy to use spreadsheet module.

On the other side EXCEL is an easy to use spreadsheet module used worldwide for saving data in a tabular format.

And now EXCEL TO TALLY. EXCEL TO TALLY is a utility using which user can export data/transactions already entered in EXCEL in tabular format to TALLY. Now no need to appoint additional staff for entering transaction one by one from excel to tally. Copy or type your data in excel sheet, paste it to EXCEL TO TALLY data entry sheet and click Export. Maximum two minutes and more than five hundred transactions are entered in TALLY. No matter if ledgers are not available in TALLY. EXCEL TO TALLY will ask you only to define group of those Ledgers which are not available in TALLY. Once groups are defined ledgers will be created at run time and transactions will be entered in TALLY.

We also provide customized version of Excel to Tally as per requirement of client (charges applicable) and also provide templates to map your excel sheet to Excel to Tally format on request of client.
